The brand new romantic drama ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ utterly fails to deliver on its grand emotional promises. At its core, this cinematic venture attempts to spin a sweeping love story between its lead characters. However, the central romance simply does not touch the heart of the viewer in any meaningful way.
The narrative suffers from an incredibly lengthy, weak pace that drains the vital energy right out of the cinema hall. Audiences are highly likely to find the sluggish, repetitive storytelling rather boring as the plot moves forward at a glacial speed.
While the feature struggles heavily narratively, it does manage to find minor redemption in its technical departments. The choreography stands out as a genuine highlight of the entire production. The dance sequences are exceptionally lively, beautifully synchronised and well executed by the talented cast. There are also a few good moments scattered across the extensive running time. These fleeting instances offer brief glimpses of a much better film that might have been if more care was taken by the production crew.
Unfortunately, these isolated strengths are not nearly enough to save the entire project from ultimate failure. The musical score is merely ok but completely unmemorable. No individual songs or background melodies linger in the mind after the curtains finally fall. Ultimately, the occasional sparks of creativity cannot compensate for the fundamental flaws in the script. It remains a thoroughly boring experience overall.
